Sticky notes for Chrome, without the scatter
Sticky-note extensions recreate the desk problem: little squares scattered across pages, impossible to find later, gone when a site changes. My Notes keeps the speed of a sticky — one click and you're typing — but puts every note in one panel, beside every tab, searchable forever.
Sticky-note speed
- One click on the toolbar icon (or
Alt/⌥+Nfor a fresh note) — the panel opens beside your page, not over it. - Every keystroke auto-saves. No save button, no “are you sure”.
- Right-click → add to My Notes turns any selected text into a note with a link back to the page — faster than any sticky.
Without the sticky-note mess
- Instant search across every note — the one thing wall-of-stickies can never do.
- #tags and pinning instead of spatial memory; notes group by date automatically.
- They grow up gracefully: a two-line sticky can become a real document — headings, checklists, tables — in the same note.
And unlike most sticky extensions, My Notes requests no host permissions — it can't see the pages you visit, and notes never leave your device. Free, no account, works offline.
